Is this product not suited for my home?
I'm looking to purchase your 18" ProCom Split Hickory Ventless Gas Logs. The measurements for my fire hearth is (one) inch short on the backside (your diagram measurement C is 19" vs. required 20"). I understand this is not the exact measurement required, however, all the other measurements are well over the requirements so I'd like to know if this product is not suited for my home.
Thanks
The back measurement is important if you have just the minimum depth required. With the minimum depth the log set would have to be placed against the back wall of the fireplace. If all of the other measurements exceed the recommended space then you are fine. The importance of the minimum requirements is so there is enough air flow so the unit doesn't become oxygen deprived and shut down due to the oxygen depletion system.
