Hi I have a gas fireplace, (not a wood burning fireplace with a chimney)  that I can turn on with a switch. Can I order and use any of these two remotes or do you recommend another one?

Hi Michael, You are currently using a switch to turn on and off your gas fireplace which means your fireplace has a millivolt valve. You may use anyone of the remotes we offer on our website. The most popular option is the RCST thermostat remote, but it can be used as a basic on off remote as well.
