I have a Monessen DST30NV that does not have a remote and I would like to add one.  The only way to currently turn the logs off/on is to use the controls on the burner. Will this remote work with the log set and are there components that I will need to install on the logs to allow remote operation? I would really love to have a thermostat or flame height control
feature with the log set.

The ambient remotes that we offer are compatible with the model DST30NV ventless gas log set you own.  The remote purchase will include a receiver with two wires that plug into the millivolt valve making the installation very simple. The remote with a built in thermostat is model RCST.
