Can I use ventless logs in this application?
I currently have a fireplace and chimney. The chimney does not go through the roof, it is open to the attic. Can I use ventless logs in this application? Do I need to plug the top of the chimney in the attic first?
The fireplace should be checked by a professional mason or check with the building codes be sure it will be safe to install ventless gas logs with the chimney disconnected in the attic.
